Mission

To provide education for the students who are able to compete internationally on technical and professional grounds, able to generate creative solutions to the society’s needs, conscious to the universal moral values, adherent to the professional ethical code, and to produce and disseminate knowledge and technologies essential to the local and global needs in the field of electronics and communication engineering.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  1. To impart knowledge to students on fundamental of basic science, mathematics and computer science that would help them to comprehend the design and developmental concepts of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  2. To develop the indispensable communication skills and essential comprehensive abilities in students and provide them with hardware and software skill trainings that will facilitate them to attain excellent job opportunities in the industries or for their higher studies.
  3. To provide practical skills by hands-on experience to the students to relate the knowledge gained on various scientific and technical courses in order to carry out curriculum based laboratory experiments and team projects.
  4. To provide an exhaustive knowledge and demonstrations related to the core area of Electronics and Communication Engineering, starting from the fundamentals to the level of analysis, synthesis and design of circuits and systems, in addition to the exposure on latest advancements in the field.
  5. To cultivate the students with a broader knowledge on usage of computers, management, ethical and moral principles, environmental issues and other engineering disciplines.
  6. To familiarize the students with the concept of state of art, computing techniques and simulations which help them to incorporate new ideas in any field of technology in order to make advancements in the already existing knowledge.

  1. PSO 1. Graduates will apply fundamentals with hands-on competence to solve emerging real-world problems of electronics in domains like communication systems, instrumentation and control, biomedical engineering, VLSI and Embedded systems.
  2. PSO 2. Proficiency in designing and analyzing various functional essentials of complex communication systems and signal processing.

AICTE-ISTE Induction/Refresher Programme on “Design Development Fabrication Measurement Techniques for Next Generation Antennas [DDFMT-2018|" attended by Prof Kavita Thakur and Prof. Megha Motta from 30 November,01 December 2018 to 03 December 2018 - 06 December 2018, organized by Department of Electronics & Telecomm. Engineering,SGSITS, Indore (M.P.).
  4. The workshop on "Coding the digital circuits" was conducted by the Prof. Parag Parandkar for the students of EC IV Semester (A and B) by making use of Verilog HDL." on 13 May, 2017.
  5. Workshop on Advanced Embedded System was organized by the department from 24 April 2017 to 28 April 2017 for the students of VI Semester. Mr. Mahendra Gupta from Technido Pvt. Ltd. Indore conducted the workshop.

  7. The VLSI Design and Embedded Systems group of the department along with the Electronics Club has organized Jagdish Chandra Bose- Best Project Award competition for the Final year students on 11 May, 2017.
  8. Two days Paul Eisler PCB Designing workshop was organized for students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 5 & 6 May, 2017. The event was organized “Electronics Club & Analog and Digital Group” under the coordination of Prof. Megha Motta and Prof. Vinay Soni.
  9. Two days workshop was conducted by Prof. Abhishek Sengar on “Antenna Design and its Application in today’s Scenario” for 3rd year students from 22 to 23 Feb. 2018.
  10. PLC” for III year students from 27 to 28 Feb. 2018. The purpose of this workshop was to make student aware of recent trends in industry.
  11. Two days Paul Eisler PCB Designing workshop and competition was organized for students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on April 6, 2016. The event was organized by Electronics Club under the coordination of Prof. Anagaha Chougaonkar and Prof. Megha Motta.
  12. Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Acropolis Technical Campus organized One day Competition on “Circuit designing using simulation” on 26 April 2016.
  13. One day JACK KILBY CIRCUIT DESIGNING COMPETITION was organized for students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on April 26,2016.

  15. The Electronics club core members have organized Line follower Robot designing workshop on 22 September as a part of a preparatory workshop for the George Devol Robotics Competition to be organized on 27 September, 2016.
  16. An one hour interactive session on “Crime Prevention and Traffic Awareness” was organized for the students of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering Acropolis Technical Campus, Indore on September 29, 2016.

  18. Three days workshop on “Insight into Measuring Instruments” was organized under IEEE student branch from 1 Dec to 3 Dec 2016 conducted by Prof. Jagdish Baldua and Prof. Anagha Chougaonkar.
  19. Two days Technical fest Robospark 2K16 organized in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Acropolis Technical Campus, Indore under the aegis of ISTE and Electronics Club various parallel events like Robo-Race, Robo-Soccer, Robo-Chase, Aqua-Robo, Line-Follower and Project Exhibition were held and coordinated by Prof. Nilesh Dubey and Prof. Priya Geete.

Hands on Training:

  1. 15 days hands on training on PLC,SCADA and HMI is organized Prof. Nilesh Dubey .
  2. 12 day of training/workshop program on IoT with Arduino under ISTE Student’s Chapter, in E.C. DEPT. at October 2018 is organized Prof. Vishal Pawar.
  3. Hands-on- training for EC 3rdYear Students on “Antenna Design” where the students learnt the design/simulation process of MicroStrip Antenna using software simulation tool than the FSS and absorber structure in antenna design were discussed and designed in the workshop that would be helpful technology for the society to filter out the harmful radiation is conducted by Prof. Abhishek Sengar .

  3. Shreya satle and Kriti jain from EC II Year secured III position in electrade competition organized by ECell (department of EC) at ATC,indore on II Year2018.
  4. Shreya satle from EC II Year successfully completed IOT internship from 15 January 2018 to 1 February 2018 at REOFT technologies, Indore.
  5. Jhanvi Chatur from EC II Year secured IInd position in Declamation competition organized by Litmus at ATC,indore on 11 September 2018.
  6. Ajay Yadav and Keshin Rajput from EC III Year. under the Guidance of Prof. Hemant Marmat And Imran Khan have developed a social security system and presented their system in front of Indore DIG Mr Harinarayanchari Mishra at SP Office.
  7. Keshin Rajput and Ajay Yadav the students of EC III Year. have worked in acroracerz team. They went to Kolhapur Event and won many prizes of cost 55,000 Rs.
